Trond Hatling

Chair
Nurse and Sociologist. Advisor, Norwegian Resource Center for Community Mental Health (NAPHA), Norway. External consultant to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s development of National Clinical advice on the prevention of coercion in specialist mental health services. Board member of the Norwegian Network on Coercion Research (Tvangsforsk) 2008-2019. Trond led the intervention arm on ReCoN (2019-2024), a Norwegian Research Council funded project to develop community-based interventions to prevent compulsory admissions. He has been a member of EViPRG since 1997, and chair since 2019. Trond is current EViPRG Chair.
