Alina Haines-Delmont, PhD, MSc, BSc, BA

Mental health researcher based in England with a focus on the prevention and reduction of coercive and restrictive practices across mental health and forensic settings. Her work integrates lived experience, human rights frameworks, and implementation approaches to support system-level change, workforce development, and trauma-informed, non-coercive care. She has been involved in international collaborations on coercion reduction and service transformation (including COST action FOSTREN), contributing to research, training, and policy-relevant outputs. Within EViPRG, she co-leads the website and social media portfolio (with Jakub) and serves as Research Coordinator (with Tess), supporting international collaboration, dissemination, and the development of network research activity.
