Another thought provoking day part of our FOSTREN/EVIPRG scientific meeting at The Manchester Metropolitan University: from discussing epidemiological evidence and identifying gaps in practice, questioning the level of experience-based decision making, exploring best methodologies to capture the complexity around the use of coercion in mental health settings, to the bigger questions around ethical dilemmas, human rights and the legality of coercion.
